National Frequency Register

Nederlands Engels
On the next URL you will find the Dutch National Frequency Register. This explanation guides you through the register. In the Register you will find the radio interface per frequency band on which the allocation of the band is based. The listed data forms the basis for a well structured spectrum-usage.

Under the R&TTE Directive ( Directive 1999/5/EC) the Commission has published a list of harmonised standards. The use of (harmonised)standards is not mandatory. However if applied, they give the user of the radio spectrum a reasonable level of confidence that the equipment will cause no interference to other radiocommunications. For certain equipment the Commission has published Decisions. The equipment concerned has to meet these Decisions. In principle, a license is required to use the radio spectrum. For certain applications, parts of the radio interface have been identified as mandatory elements in the license conditions.

The register is divided into three parts:
1. In the upper part you can search the database for using two different selections (listed below).
2. The middle part is the actual register.
3. The lower part contains a corresponding extract of the Dutch National Frequency plan, which is the legal basis for spectrum management in the Netherlands.

The following selections can be made (not all fields need to be filled out):
1. 'frequency band': fill out the lower and/or upper frequency of a wanted band and click on select or
2. select an application from the listbox and click on select.

Next you can query the information from the National Frequency table by clicking on the requested frequencies after having made a selection. The data will appear on the lower part of the screen.
